Tyrone G. Miller is the founding CEO of Lancaster Works which is bringing to fruition his lifelong dream of providing underserved individuals equitable access to the tools essential to personal and professional success. The entity now known as Lancaster Works represents the evolution of the former Lancaster Works at ASSETS which Mr. Miller formed in 2017 as the Workforce Development arm of ASSETS PA. Assuming ownership in 2021 Mr. Miller has now positioned Lancaster Works to accelerate its plans to create a National Workforce Development model. A firm believer in the power of partnering his plan for success is built upon the formation of a Collective impact Partnership made up of Employer, Educational/Training and Human Service organizations all working together to create a truly equitable economy that works for everyone.
In addition to leading Lancaster County’s first and only Social Enterprise B Corporation Workforce Development agency Tyrone serves on The Governor’s Diversity, Inclusion and Small Business Opportunities Advisory Council, Chairman of the Council’s Workforce Development Committee, Board member of Lancaster Society for Human Resource Management (LSHRM), United Way of Lancaster’s Collective Impact and 211 Committees and Career Ready Lancaster Committee, to name just a few.
A graduate of Franklin & Marshall College Tyrone enjoys his downtime relaxing with his wife Debra, their children, and close friends, plays an occasional round of golf, enjoys fine dining, and MLS soccer. His love of travel takes him anywhere with palm trees, white beaches, and no daily schedule. He will tell you that Aruba is his Happy Place.

As a Recruiter for Lancaster Works, Sonia provides employees with career navigation and employment resources. Her lifelong passion of guiding and helping individuals live their fullest lives motivates her to support others in achieving their goals.
Lancaster Works’ holistic approach incorporates creating an individually developed, step-by-step plan for each employee that addresses employment, a livable wage, housing, food insecurity, childcare, transportation, and more. By forming this partnership, Sonia can assist an employee in reaching their full potential, living their best life, while fully recognizing that every situation is unique.
Originally from New York, Sonia moved to Pennsylvania in 2004 and worked at WellSpan Health (formerly Good Samaritan Hospital). She is also a licensed Realtor®, a passion she finds rewarding by assisting Lancaster Works associates in fulfilling their dream of homeownership. Sonia loves spending time with her family, crafting, decorating, visiting local restaurants, and traveling with her daughter.
